BarcodePilot helps Shopify merchants manage missing EAN-13 barcode values. By connecting a store and using the app, you authorize its Shopify access and agree to use the service in accordance with Shopify’s applicable terms and the permissions you approve.
Barcode handling and merchant responsibility
BarcodePilot can generate EAN-13 format values for variants with missing barcodes, either through enabled automatic handling or a manual bulk action. It reads before writing and is designed to preserve populated supplier codes. Generated values are not GS1 registrations, allocations, or certifications. BarcodePilot does not guarantee retailer, marketplace, or trading-partner acceptance. You are responsible for confirming that identifiers are appropriate for your products and commercial requirements, and for reviewing catalog changes.
Plans and features
Basic costs USD $10 per month and supports up to 5,000 variants, the latest 25 successful assignments, and existing safe numbering. Advanced costs USD $20 per month and supports up to 25,000 variants, the latest 100 successful assignments, and advanced prefix and starting-sequence controls. Full costs USD $30 per month, has unlimited variant capacity, the latest 500 successful assignments, advanced numbering controls, assignment-history CSV export, and a read-only full-catalog barcode audit CSV.
All plans include automatic EAN-13 generation when enabled, manual generation for missing barcodes, supplier-barcode preservation and read-before-write checks, uniqueness checks and EAN validation, dashboard/catalog counts, and standard settings. A 7-day trial applies to each plan. Shopify development stores can test for free; regular rates apply to live stores. Plan limits and features are subject to the selected plan and confirmed subscription.
Billing and cancellation
Shopify-hosted billing and subscription management handle plan approval, trial, charges, status, and cancellation. Review the subscription terms and renewal details presented by Shopify. Cancellation takes effect as described by Shopify; deleting app data or uninstalling the app is not a promise of a refund. BarcodePilot does not receive or process your payment-card details.
Exports and service operation
CSV exports are read-only. The full-catalog barcode audit is paginated and represents a point-in-time review as it is read; it is not a transactional snapshot. BarcodePilot uses Shopify product APIs and depends on Shopify and its hosting/platform providers. No uninterrupted availability or service-level agreement is promised.
